International project advisor

From 1982 to 1994 worked for a private company in planning, building and operating wood processing plants worldwide.
From 1994 to 2019, worked with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on international issues related to the forest industry, including wood processing, forest products trade, wood supply and climate change. Provided technical and normative assistance to FAO member countries in the ground. Lately as FAO Representative in Equatorial Guinea and Mozambique.
Acted as focal point to the private forest industry sector in the role of Secretary of the FAO Advisory Committee on Paper and Wood Products (ACPWP) and as Board Member of the International Technical Association of Tropical Timber (ATIBT).
